Welcome to our new 2022 writing contest!

Blue Europe is both a think tank and an editorial project about the links between Central and Eastern Europe. Its vision is to develop exchanges between the West and the East, particularly at the industrial and technological levels. This is achieved through launching networking and co-design processes with local actors, contributing with public policy recommendations and publishing inspiring people.

As a think tank specializing in Legal, Economic, and Political matters, we aim to increase the population’s awareness on European issues as much as possible. In this regard, the board has decided to host a new writing competition for scientific articles.

This contest is open to all EU and EEA students,[1] as well as graduates who obtained their degree in the last 5 years. We are inviting especially inspiring young students to write about their knowledge field – on any scientific topic of their choosing. It is our hope to discover those exceptional students that not only know their craft but can also effectively communicate it to the scientific community as well as to the general public. The article will then be published on Blue Europe’s website.

In addition, a monetary prize will be awarded to the author of the article that will receive the highest note by the jury.

GRAND PRIZE OF 500 €

Original articles may be submitted on any subject among the following: Law, Diplomatic Sciences, Economics, Econometry, Public Policies, Governance, Politics, Information Technology, Business, Technology, Geopolitics, Geography, Infrastructure and History and must deal with – at least partially – Central and Eastern Europe.[2] These two criteria are cumulative.

Finalists will then be chosen across all disciplines by an internal panel of Blue Europe staff, featured writers, and specialists in the various fields of competence.  Submissions must have a minimum of 4,500 words and a maximum of 25,000 words. The submission must be presented in either English, French or Polish (Blue Europe main working languages).

You can submit your candidacy writing to: contest2022@blue-europe.eu
